Travel Documents & Essentials

Passport

International travel requires a valid passport. Please verify the expiration date and physical condition of your passport.

Next, check the specific passport requirements with the consulate of the country(ies) you plan to visit during your trip (if you need help finding these requirements, please contact us).

It is important to note that many countries require passports to be valid for a specified amount of time beyond your departure date from that country (sometimes by up to six months). Some countries may also require fully blank passport pages with no prior stamps or documentation.

If you determine that you will require a new passport, please note that passport processing can take several months, so it is important to look into this as soon as possible.

You can find more details on the U.S. Department of State’s passport information website.

Visas

Depending on the location of your trip, travel visas may be required and are not included in the cost of your adventure. Upon booking, please check the specific visa requirements with the consulate of the country(ies) you will visit during your trip, as visas can take up to 90 days or more to process and arrive. Some visas may be purchased upon arrival at the destination airport.

If you would like assistance with visa requirements, VisaCentral can assist you in this process. To learn more about what VisaCentral can do for you, please visit their website.
